Whittlesey Doyle Lends a Helping Hand

~ IT IS BETTER TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE ~

Whittlesey Doyle took an afternoon during this holiday season to lend a hand to those in need.

The Orange County Rescue Mission, along with numerous partners, provides much needed assistance to the homeless population of Orange County.  The project "The Village of Hope" is a rehabilitation and transitional program to help homeless and poor families stay together during trying times.  "The Village of Hope" is a faith-based residential program that teaches homeless families and adults to become self-sufficient.  The Village is situated on five acres of the former Tustin Marine Corps Air station, and provides families with the helping hand they need in order to get back on their feet. 

Whittlesey Doyle team members spent the afternoon in the Orange County Rescue Mission warehouse adjacent to “The Village of Hope.”  We worked together to assemble and package over 200 boxes filled with food and basic necessities for the homeless.  The boxes were to be distributed to several locations throughout the county, including churches and shelters, to provide food for the hungry. 

We at Whittlesey Doyle are thankful for all we are blessed with and feel privileged to be able to give back to our community.
